A new 100X hybrid canine assembly was generated and polished using projects SNIC 2019/3-182. This reference quality assembly, GSD1.0, has accepted by NCBI (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/JAAHUQ000000000). The annotation of the assembly with novel and published RNAseq data is partially completed. MicroRNAs and additional brain regions (polyA selected) require further processing. In addition, we have just begun the mapping of 1000 in-house and published 30x genomes to this resource in order to generate population level resources. A paper is currently being drafted, but it requires additional resources to be completed. The population level data is slated to be published in a second manuscript separate to the new reference.
