Abstract

Digital Engineering for Aircraft Aerodynamic Design The title above represents a project recently accepted and funded by NFFP8 (via VINNOVA). The project develops and demonstrates the CEASIOMpyLight integrated chain of software tools with short learning curve for conceptual aircraft aerodynamic design. It targets, in particular, the generation of aero-data for the intended flight envelope. The tools will be used for educational as well as for industrial projects. The system will be adapted to and first used in courses on compressible aerodynamic design at KTH with me, Peter Eliasson adj. prof. KTH and Saab employee, as course instructor.
