We have previously developed a new method for whole genome bisulfite sequencing library preparation (SPLAT), see Raine et al, 2017 NAR. We are currently performing method development in order to improve the original method and to validate it for different types of applications. For example, we are currently validating a SPLAT-based method for single cell methylation sequencing (scSPLAT). This project consists of sequencing and array-based DNA methylation data from cell lines and various non-human organisms. The data is not considered to be sensitive. We have also received a technology development grant from SciLifelab to develop a ultra highplex library preparation methoid upSPLAT -applicable to many sample types and applications.
