My research is conducted within the framework of population and conservation genetics which will aid in the understanding of genetic biodiversity and its long term adaptation and survival. The main objectives of the project are: 1) to investigate neutral and adaptive genetic basis of differentiation in brown trout and Arctic char metapopulations, 2) to investigate inbreeding in Arctic char and to study introgression in brown trout. In the current project, we are using data from individual and pool (of group of individual) sequencing.
