Understanding the role of enhancers and cis-interaction networks for the development of the morphological and behavioural differences between the domestic dog and the wolf. Specifically, to compare promoter-enhancer networks and to identify genes with different regulatory mechanisms between dogs and wolfs and to investigate their relevance for domestication, morphology and behaviour.
