Abstract

In this project we aim to investigate how viral infections affect various T cell subsets during chronic infection, how this evolves during treatment and what changes remain after virus clearance. As part of our efforts to characterise virally induced changes, we will perform single-cell RNA sequencing on multiple subsets of T cells in patients infected by various viruses before during and after treatment. Access to UPPMAX would therefore be essential for us to be able to process and analyse this large amount of data.
