This round is for Uppsala University affiliated researchers and research staff, intending to use the local UPPMAX cluster Pelle and/or storage system Gorilla, or for users who have an agreement with UPPMAX.

If you need more than 100,000 core-hours per month, contact UPPMAX support. This UU-funded resource was installed in late 2024. It features standard compute nodes with 48 cores and 768 GB per node, many nodes with Nvidia T4 or L40s GPUs, and some nodes with Nvidia H100 GPUs.
Gorilla	UPPMAX	100 000	1 000	20 000 000	GiB	Non-sensitive storage
By default, data on Gorilla is not backed up. Place data in the "enable_backup" directory to enable backup for that data. If you need more than 100TB storage, contact UPPMAX support for help. Gorilla is a large and fast Ceph-based file system mounted on Pelle and Maja.
