This round is for SLU-affiliated staff interested in using resources at UPPMAX not funded by NAISS. Projects are renewable on up to an annual basis. You will be charged for these services on a monthly basis.

This round is open for proposals until 2027-01-01 00:00.

This UU-funded resource was installed in late 2024. It features standard compute nodes with 48 cores and 768 GB per node, many nodes with Nvidia T4 or L40s GPUs, and some nodes with Nvidia H100 GPUs.
Gorilla	UPPMAX	—	500	100 000	GiB	Fast storage attached to Pelle
Ceph-based storage system. Gorilla is a large and fast Ceph-based file system mounted on Pelle and Maja.
Lutra	UPPMAX	—		1 000 000	GiB	Slower storage. Minimum 50 TB buy-in.
Lutra is not suitable for serving intense compute needs. User-funded off-load storage resource at UPPMAX
