Abstract

We are studying neural tumor development and the consequences of genetic and epigenetic changes using functional analyses of both human and mouse model systems. We will perform multi-omics analyses of both bulk and single cells levels to get a better understanding of how and when neural tumors develop with the aim of finding novel treatment targets for precision cancer medicine. We will analyse WGS ans WES data from SciLife lab core facilities using a range of genomic analysis tools such as BWA, Samtools, Picard, GATK, VEP and Annovar. In addition, we will use multiple packages in R and scripting using Python.
