Abstract

Quantum droplets are a new form of matter that has recently been observed in Bose-Einstein condensates. These droplets are stabilized by a balance between attractive and repulsive forces, and their properties are determined by quantum fluctuations. Unlike conventional droplets, which are held together by surface tension, quantum droplets have a unique stability that arises from their quantum nature. The study of quantum droplets in Bose-Einstein condensates is an exciting area of research that has the potential to shed new light on the behaviour of matter at the quantum level.
