Lung cancers are currently the leading cause of cancer related deaths, with non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC) specifically being the most common type of lung cancer.
Immunotherapy has in recent years caused a paradigm shift in cancer treatment as it in many ways outperforms previous standard therapies. However, treatment outcome varies greatly between patients. Accurate prediction of which patients will respond positively to treatment is the long term goal of this project. Biomarkers that better predict treatment outcome are therfore needed. This project focus on creating predictive models (AI) of treatment outcome by integrating multiple parameters that can be identified as biomarkers.
