Apilactobacillus kunkeei is a fructophilic lactic acid bacterium. These species were considerably abundant in the gut of honeybees, flowering plants and honeybee food products. We recently sequenced 104 isolates using the pacbio sequencing technology and studied their genome diversity and evolutionary relationship. These species' genome sizes ranged between 1.49 to 1.64 Mb. In continuation of the previous work, I would like to understand more about species variation focusing on the tRNA gene content, pacbio methylated sites and their regulatory mechanisms based on the presence or absence of different regulons in the genome.
