Abstract

n this application, we are requesting 5000 core hours per month to perform testing of HPC resources using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations of Plate Heat Exchangers (PHEs). Planned activities are related to numerical simulations of turbulent fluid flow, mixing, and heat transfer in PHEs using commercial software Ansys Fluent. This application is a part of an industrial PhD project at the Department of Energy Sciences LTH, funded by Alfa Laval.
