Abstract
We are performing Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) sequencing of Norway spruce and Scots pine for the purpose of analysing cytosine methylation. The methylation data will be integrated with ATAC-Seq, Hi-C and sRNA sequencing data together with analysis of transposable elements. We aim to describe the landscape of chromatin in these two species and to explore chromatin dynamics during the process of somatic embryogenesis in Norway spruce.
